  1. HELP SYSTEM CONVENTIONS
  2.  "PageUp/PageDown
  3. " indicate that you can press those
  4.  keys to move from one help screen to another, backward or  
  5.  forward. ("HELP SYSTEMS CONVENTIONS" is only one screen.)  
  6.  Main help system border colors are bright white on brown.  
  7.  Technical notes border colors are bright yellow on brown.  
  8.  Keyboard keys like Up, Down, Enter are yellow on brown.
  9.  When we reference BugTrakr menu items we use bright white  
  10.  on brown, like REPORTS.
  11.  Items of emphasis are green on brown.
  12.  NOTE: This help system is NOT complete; it is only a
  13. sample.

  32.  If you decide to modify the help information you should
  33.  read these instructions carefully! While changing the
  34.  information is not really difficult, there are some
  35.  things that you should know before you start. This is page 
  36.  2 of 5 pages on this topic. You might want to use your
  37.  "print Screen" key to print these pages.
  38.  First, position the cursor to the PREVIOUS menu item or
  39.  field that you want to change. When selected, the help
  40.  system editor will show you the help for the NEXT field,
  41.  not the current field. If the first menu item is the one

  46.  you want point to the LAST one.
  47.  If you choose the wrong field to edit (which is easy to
  48.  do) you can press "Esc" to get out of the editor. Then,
  49.  when you select the next field it (hopefully) will be the  
  50.  one you want.
  51.  Press Alt-F1 to get a screen like the one on the next
  52.  page.

  64.  Press Enter twice to accept the default colors. Now you
  65.  can use the editor to make changes. Although the
  66.  editor does word wrap it doesn't do much else, so don't
  67.  expect much in the way of word processing tools.
  68.  When done editing the help, press Ctrl-Enter to save and
  69.  exit the screen of help. Press Alt-F1 to get the LogixHelp 
  70.  screen above. Press "N" to disable any more editing.

  75.  At the bottom of the screen appears four lines of help.
  76.  The fourth line from the bottom in Cyan background (the
  77.  same color as the main menu) gives help on the keys
  78.  appropriate to the current screen, e.g. "F1=Help"
  79.  suggests that you press the F1 key to get more help than
  80.  is shown in the mini-help system on screen.
  81.  In green appears up to three lines of help on the current  
  82.  menu item or data entry field. You can modify the green
  83.  help information.

  86.   BugTrakr is started by entering "BT" at the DOS prompt. You
  87.   can customize the way it starts by adding a "switch".
  88. Disables Beep
  89. Disables use of Ctrl-Break
  90. Enables fast video (might cause "snow")
  91. n=0 disables screen saver, n=2 gives 2 minutes
  92. Disables set keyboard lock feature
  93. Enables enhanced keyboard

  115.  The bright white number in front of some fields identifies 
  116.  the field as a "quick access" field. For example, to get
  117.  to the description field quickly, hold down the Alt key,
  118.  tap the 7 key and release the Alt key. This is called
  119.  alt-seven, something akin to shift-seven.
